Explore the incredible journey of Crab Fest, from its humble beginnings in 1999 with just 3,000 attendees to becoming one of WA’s largest free events, now attracting over 100,000 visitors!

View captivating photographs and newspaper clippings showcasing iconic moments and quirky competitions like the Crazy Crab Capers, Celebrity Bed Race, and Opera on the Bay. Every year, Crab Fest delights with fresh entertainment and unique experiences.

Relive festival highlights with exciting videos featuring celebrities, action sports, live music, and mouthwatering cooking demos.
Don’t miss the vibrant art display by renowned local artist Emma Blyth.  Inspired by the blue manna crab and the essence of our city, her work celebrates the heart and soul of Crab Fest.

Visit Mandurah Museum this Crab Fest weekend on 15 and 16 March from 10am-3pm.
Find out about the history of Crab Fest and how this festival has evolved.

Join origami specialist Sanny Ang to create origami crabs, fish and boats and local artist Sarah Petrich to decorate a wooden surfboard or dolphin.

Complete a Blue Swimmer Crab Quiz and go into the draw to win a LEGO set.

These fun and engaging activities are suitable for children ages 5+, however small children may need assistance from an adult.

Cost: Free
All materials are provided, and art creations made, can be taken home.
