Cam’s Reading Camp – July 2026 School Holiday Event
Children aged 6 to 12 years old can read books on the topics below then bring a book they want to talk about to the reading camp at Clarkson Library.
‘Screen Stars’ / Wednesday 8 July 2026 / 2pm to 3pm / Clarkson Library
Read and share a book featuring a character who also appears in a TV show, movie or game.
‘Symphony of Stories’ / Wednesday 15 July 2026 / 2pm to 3pm / Clarkson Library
Leading up to Children’s Book Week in August, let’s read and share books on the shortlist for this year’s awards.
Children can choose any form of book, including picture books, junior fiction, graphic novels, non-fiction or audiobooks. Ask library staff for suggestions or help to search the catalogue.
Spaces are limited – book tickets for each session.
