Buzzing World of Bees & Honey with COASTAL NECTAR

January 23 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Free

Engage your senses in this unique honey tasting and beeswax candle making experience. Learn about the gentle artform of beekeeping and why bees are important to our ecosystem.

During this interactive and educational workshop, we’ll learn about different types of native bees, how honey is harvested and why bees are vital to our environment and the food we eat. We’ll enjoy a delicious honey tasting, a beekeeper Q & A and finish by making our own beeswax candle to take home.

This workshop will take you on a sweet journey through the fascinating world of bees.

Led by Thomas Earls, a passionate professional beekeeper and educator. ‘Beekeeper Tom’ is the founder of Coastal Nectar and is currently on tour presenting bee workshops throughout WA.

PLEASE NOTE: Workshop includes a variety of hands-on materials & educational resources. Due to allergy risks, no live bees will be brought to the workshop.

This workshop is for teens (12+) and adults.
