Australia Day Family Fun Day
On Australia Day we celebrate all the things we love about Australia: the great outdoors, a sense of fair go, lifestyle and the diversity of our great nation.
So join us at Shelley Foreshore for the City’s Australia Day celebration on Monday 26 January 2026. This event is designed for the whole community with a strong doggy theme, so bring the family pooch, your friends and neighbours along for a morning to afternoon of fun by the river.
Our event will have more dog friendly activation’s, stalls and fun than you can wag your tail at, as well as the pinnacle of every Canning dog owners calendar – the City of Canning’s ‘Puppy Parade’!!
This free to enter event is also smoke free, alcohol free, dog friendly (of course!) and wheelchair accessible.
