The City of Gosnells Australia Day Big Breakfast is a free family event that promotes the message “Reflect, Respect, Celebrate”. The event will commence with the Bigarrda Cultural Dancers, who will perform the Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony, followed by a didgeridoo performance and dancing. The event will showcase a range of fun and exciting activities, including the Rotary Club of Gosnells Big Breakfast, the Australia Day Citizen of the Year Awards, cultural entertainment, roving performers, and children’s activities featuring an Australia-themed maze, stilt walkers, and a native bird display. The event is hosted in the beautiful Centennial Pioneer Park and is wheelchair accessible, ensuring it is inclusive for all. It will also include an Auslan interpreter on stage for speeches and performances.
