At the Shops: Play and Learn
At the Shops: Play and Learn is a fun, play-based weekly program that helps children develop the important skills they need before starting school.
Each session offers a variety of engaging, themed play experiences, including a make-it table, stories and music, play dough, and an investigation station. Children can explore, create, and learn through hands-on activities designed to support their social, emotional, language, and early learning development.
The session concludes with an interactive group mat time, where children come together to enjoy songs, stories, and fun learning experiences. This welcoming program provides a great opportunity for children to build confidence, make friends, and develop a love of learning through play.
While City of Gosnells staff make every effort to support community safety, At the Shops sessions are not supervised. As such, parental supervision is compulsory and parents are to remain at the premises with their child/ren for the entirety of the session.

- Participants are discouraged from attending if they are unwell at the time of the event/program.
- Limits on event/programs help ensure participants get the most out of the experience, while supporting the health and wellbeing of both participants and staff.
- For the comfort and safety of everyone, steps may be taken to ensure venue capacity limits are followed.
Facilitators schedule these much-loved programs in advance. In the event of unexpected circumstances, such as inclement weather or illness, scheduled programs may be subject to alteration or postponement at short notice.
