Art Jam for ages 9 – 11 – IRL Zine Project
Come along to Bullsbrook Library where Art Jam are running free art workshops for kids aged 9 – 11.
Starting in term 4 and running for 8 weeks, Art Jam will provide all the materials for kids to create and publish their own zine.
These will then become part of a zine exchange library across WA! The Ethel Warren Bullsbrook Community Centre will also be displaying all the completed zines in the foyer for the community to admire.
These sessions will be every Tuesday from 3:15 – 4:15pm, starting on the 20th of October, and finishing on the 8th of December. You can come to every session, or as many as it takes to finish your zine.
Parents can hang out in the library with free coffee, books and magazines whilst their kids are busy creating their masterpieces!
Please book in as spaces are limited.
This program is suitable for ages 9 -11 and is a hands-on workshop. Please book one ticket for each person attending. Photography and videography may be taken at this event. Images and footage may be used by the City of Swan and event organisers for marketing and promotional purposes.
