Who needs reindeer when you’ve got cranedeers?

Get in the Freo spirit and celebrate this festive season with a host of carol singers, skaters, and Santa himself in the heart of Fremantle from Monday December 16 to Friday December 20.

Explore the city’s program of FREE community Christmas events below and in the spirit of the season (and Freo), all are welcome and it’s all FREE.

Holiday Skating – 10am-4pm daily (open till 6pm Thursday and Friday)

Bring the kids down and watch them zip, glide, and spin away on 140 square metres of synthetic ice (skate hire included—experience optional!). Ages 5-14 only.

Classic Christmas Movie – Thursday night 7pm

BYO picnic blanket and settle on the sloped lawn at Walyalup Koort to watch A Santa Clause. Tickets are free but bookings are essential. Get yours at https://events.humanitix.com/classic-christmas-movie-2024.

Carols from the Koort – Friday night 6pm

The much-loved Carols from the Koort returns for a night of carols and Christmas cheer in Walyalup Koort. Family festivities begin at 4pm with rumours of a special appearance from the North Pole later that evening.

Meet Santa – 11am-2pm daily

The one and only Santa Claus himself will take up residence in Walyalup Koort for a week of meet and greets, wish list negotiations, and photo opportunities. Keep an eye out for his elves too… you know how cheeky they can be.
