The Kalbarri Skate Park is a popular place to while away the hours and exhaust the kids at the same time. The Skate Park is located a few minutes walk from the main Kalbarri Foreshore and is opposite a few of the local caravan, camping and hotel resorts.
It is on a main road so not ideal for younger kids to go alone. There is plenty of seating and shade around the park as well as a toilet block.
Plenty of space for bikes and scooters, but it’s not shaded and does get hot during Summer.
The park is split into a few areas, two main runs with ramps and a rather large bowl.
My kids don’t visit skate parks often so were not very experienced, but they enjoyed going higher and higher up the ramps. After 30 minutes they were whizzing around with the other kids and copying their moves. The bowl is huge, and some kids struggled to even get out of it, so make sure your children know how to get out otherwise you’ll be jumping in after them!
