We started at PVS at the beginning of the year in 2019. I pulled my daughter out, two weeks prior to the end of term three, 2019. This is not a reflection on the teachers but the principal. For someone who is so focused on the reputation of the school above and beyond the safety and welfare of the students, she is doing a stellar job of ruining that reputation all on her own. We are one of 5 families that have removed their children from our year group, this year alone. I would also like to point out that most of the five-star reviews available are from staff and board members and the school routinely offers cash incentives to post positive reviews.
This was a lovely school a free years back. The early years teaching is very good but beyond year 2 a larger school offers more. Many of the events the school stood out for and have gone, such as the annual theatre performance for children, the parents welcome breakfast, celebrations of Halloween, st Patrickโs day, etc. the staff are nice, the Principal we found was unapproachable and If there are any issues with your child, talks down to parents.
For the cost The school charges I would choose other schools in the area. Apart from the quaint buildings Iโm not sure what else this school now offers. However they do have good early years teaching.
