Visitors to a Community Action Day event receive:
- Free health checks for their dogs and puppies
- Free dog microchipping (*not available for litters or breeders)
- Free flea and worming treatments for dogs and cats (pick-up only for cats)
- Free chain exchange – swap your choker collar for a humane flat collar, thanks to Rogz
- Free pet food for families in financial need
- Free nail-clipping for dogs
- Educational information about pet care and responsible pet ownership
- Dog training advice
- Free sausage sizzle (not available at all locations) (The above services are provided subject to availability and while stocks last)
Please note: All dogs must remain on leads at all times. Please notify staff upon arrival if your dog is reactive. Unvaccinated or newly vaccinated puppies need to be carried. For safety, cats are not allowed, though their owners are welcome to attend.
