Create a Rag Rug Workshop
Rag weaving is a wonderful way to take old textiles and give them new life. Come to this workshop to learn how to create your very own rag rug that’s truly unique.
If you have old sheets/doona covers to share, please bring them to the workshop and learn how to repurpose them into a rag rug.
We will be using hula hoops for the weaving frame, so please bring one to use at the workshop. We have some to share if you don’t have your own hoop.
Suitable for Adults and Youth 16+
This workshop is hosted by the City of Canning in partnership with the Australian Association for Environmental Education WA Chapter.
