Tech Monster Junk Puppets

Join Spare Parts Puppet Theatre these January school holidays for a monstrously creative mash-up of tech and trash! Kids aged 8+ will transform recycled odds-and-ends into their very own Tech Monster junk puppets – strange, sparkly and wonderfully unique.
Guided by a teaching artist from Spare Parts Puppet Theatre, Australia’s flagship puppetry company, young makers will design, build and bring their creatures to life through play and performance. Perfect for curious minds and eco-conscious inventors, create, recycle and let your monster stomp, stomp, stomp onto centre stage!
The workshop it is suitable for children aged 7+ years.
Please be advised that children under the age of 13 years are to be accompanied by an adult at this activity.
If you are unwell or cannot attend, please contact the library as soon as you are able to allow someone else to take your place.
