All youth aged between 13 – 17yrs are invited to register and join our story writing workshop with Aśka (she/they) is an award winning visual storyteller and science communicator, with a passion for visual literacy. Having worked on over a dozen of published graphic novels and books, as well as a suite of independently published comics and zines, communicating with and evoking through pictures is Aśka’s jam. Aśka is also an active member of the Australian comics and children’s book communities, she helps to organise creative events, teaches, and travels across the state and country, bringing dynamic workshops and performances to people of all ages. Plus there will be Pizza served to participants!

This event is open for young people aged 13-17yrs, youth who do not meet the required age will have their ticket refunded.

Please ensure that you arrive 5min before start bring your ticket and have your name marked off by one of the Youth Workers when you arrive.

City of Canning does not take responsibility for young people who leave the centre or are not in the premises. City of Canning youth staff do not have the authority to keep young people at our premises at the request of parents.
