On 10 December 2025, the social media ban for under-16s came into effect, introducing new restrictions designed to protect young people from the pressures and risks of online platforms.

Specialist Paris McNeil is now leading a workshop to check in with participants following this transition, offering practical tools and strategies to help them build healthy, sustainable tech habits.

About the presenter

Paris McNeil, a Gen Z lawyer and experienced facilitator, supports young people as they adapt to the new digital landscape. She runs workshops across Australia for students, parents and educators, offering clear guidance on navigating the social media ban and cultivating healthier tech habits. Having personally felt the pressures of growing up in a hyper-connected world, Paris is passionate about empowering young people to thrive in the digital domain.

Suitable for ages 10 to 15 and their caregivers.
