Celebrate National Science Week at the Library
Join us for a magical mix of storytelling, songs and hands-on exploration in this interactive workshop designed especially for little explorers!
Led by Early Childhood Teacher Laura from Spellbound Studio, this 1-hour session begins with a fun, interactive retelling of Jack and the Beanstalk before launching into themed STEAM investigation stations, perfect for curious little minds and busy hands.
✨ This session’s highlights include:
Explore the life cycle of a bean plant (and plant your own!)
️ Build a castle in the clouds with sensory materials
Make your own golden egg shakers or rubber band harps
Expect messy, creative, open-ended fun that supports science, technology, engineering, arts and maths learning through play. Caregiver participation is encouraged to help guide and deepen the experience.
For children aged 2-5 years and their caregivers.
