This engaging workshop helps participants unleash their creativity and discover their inner strength. We will teach fun and accessible mindfulness art journaling techniques. Participants will use a variety of materials, including watercolors, collage, stenciling, and drawing, to create a personal visual diary. The focus is on being mindful and present in the creative process, rather than striving for perfection.

In this workshop, with Fiona of Strength Heroes, attendees will gain valuable tips to increase confidence, learn how to identify their unique strengths, and actively nurture their self-esteem. They will find calm in the creative flow and leave with their own beautiful mindfulness journal and a black fine-tip marker, filled with personal self-discovery and mindful affirmations.

As an extra reminder to carry their mindfulness practice into their daily life, participants will also create a special beaded keyring or bracelet to help them stay present even when their journal isn’t with them. All materials are provided; participants just need to bring their imagination!

Please note, The Maker Space is a secure tenancy in Floreat Forum. Doors will be secured and children will be supervised at all times. Children will be escorted to a toilet by our staff with access to an ambulant toilet (one person access at a time) which our staff will wait on the outside of the door.
