Australind Australia Day Celebrations

The Shire of Harvey and Australind Lions Club invite residents to celebrate Australia Day, welcome new Citizens and Honour recipients of the 2024 Citizen of the Year Awards. The day will begin with a delicious BBQ breakfast available to purchase. There will be fun for the whole family including the famous Lions Kids’ Train, a multicultural performance, live entertainment, and activities for all ages. We will partner with the local Indigenous community to host a range of cultural activities such as a smoking ceremony; dance and music performances and workshops; and bush tucker. By ensuring that activities are interactive and accessible to all we will promote the theme of Reflect. Respect. Celebrate.
