During the last day of the National Road Cycling Championships on Sunday 12 January 2025, why not bring the kids down to Kings Park and Botanic Garden to our family fun bike zone in May Drive Parkland?

The workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6.

Freestyle Now will be hosting FREE pop up BMX / Mountain bike jumping coaching session at May Drive Parklands in Kings Park. Freestyle Now will be bringing our small coaching air bag jump for participants to use during the three 50 minute sessions. Participants in BMX and mountain bikes will be able to learn new tricks or get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. These workshop sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun, informative and motivational. The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. Equipment is checked prior to the participant’s involvement to make sure that it is in a safe condition and minor repairs or adjustments can be made if necessary. We do, however, reserve the right to not permit a participant to attend the workshop if we feel that their equipment does not meet safety requirements. All participants must wear helmets and closed in shoes. All thanks to Westcycle.
