Located in one of Hammond Parkโs newest estates, Vivente, Parco Park playground is just a stone’s throw away from The Scramble Parkour Park. This sand-based playground is toddler-friendly, with various play structures for kids to explore. The playground is currently shaded with sail shades.
This playground consists of 2 buildings which look like small little huts that are connected with the rope bridge. There are several climbing ropes and nets around the buildings for the kids to climb onto or exit from with the fireman pole. The rope bridge does get quite shaky when walking across. The younger kids might find it a challenge to cross the bridge as the steps are quite far apart, but Missy 6 had no trouble crossing it at all. In the taller hut, the kids get to peek out from the viewing holes to enjoy the view on higher ground.
My girls had so much fun, especially sliding down the slide.
If you have a toddler that loves a digging pit, they will love this dinosaur skeleton that is just on the side of the play structure. Bring in the shovel and brushes and they can dig and burry the dinosaur bones!
Surrounding the playground is a natural play trail made of tree trunks and stumps. The kids go on a course while balancing on the tree trunks and stepping on the vertical logs.
There is not one, but two nest swings at the non-sand play area! This is great so the kids donโt have to fight over it.
In the shaded area, there are 2 BBQ facilities with plenty of tables and chairs. Bins are located just beside it to make cleaning up easier. Drinking water fountain are available and for the pets as well; however, there are no toilets here.
The green lawns around the playground look absolutely luscious and well-maintained. Enjoy a family picnic here or just let the kids run around. There are benches and seats around the grass area too.
Follow the wooden footpath to enjoy a walking bush trail filled with native flowers and plants. At the end of the short trail, it will lead you to the Hammond Park Climb. Hammond Parkโs very own Jacob Ladder with 62 stairs! Have a fitness challenge with the kids and see who can climb up faster!
