Located at Brown Park Community Centre (Salisbury Road, Swan View), the Swan View Toy Library is open Tuesdays and Saturdays from 9:30am to 11:00am during school terms. The library maintains an extensive collection of over 1,300 toys suitable for children from birth to eight years, including dress-ups, ride-on toys, bikes, scooters, pirate ships, castles, train sets, blocks, outdoor climbing gyms, cubbies, and educational toys.
Membership options include:
- Standard Membership: $45 per year
- Concession Membership: $35 per year (proof required)
- Non-Duty Membership: $150 per year
All memberships require a $50 security fee (refundable upon leaving)
Members can borrow toys for a 3-week period. Standard and Concession members are required to complete one volunteer roster shift per term (4 per year), while Non-Duty members are exempt from roster duties. The library offers special promotions including additional 3 months free for grandparents, new parents with babies under 6 months, and playgroup members.

We seriously love our local toy library.
Borrowing just means that when they inevitably get bored of playing with the same thing we simply return or borrow again and again if it’s something they love.
Why was hundreds of dollars at the shops when you can spend way less than that and have access to so many toys. Many you would never buy buy great to be able to utilise.
The variety is great, they have different categories for all the different types of toys. Even things for the older kids like coding toys.
It’s really a great investment and will save you heaps of nagging and money.
A great location, and we always find plenty of different toys for my children to play with. They love coming with me to “shop”!
