Do your kids watch ninja warrior shows and tell you that they want to challenge one? Then you have to bring them down to Radiata Park at Aubin Grove to give them a taste of the ninja warrior-style obstacle course! Not only that, Radiata Park has a pump track, skate park, and even a toddler-friendly playground!
This smallish pump track inside the park is great for beginners. The girls had no trouble looping around it with their bicycle and scooter. I like that the trees around it provided some shade onto the track.
Next to it is a 3-3 basketball court.
The skate park is on concrete flooring, so make sure to bring along all helmets and ensure appropriate safety equipment must be worn! It looks quite simple with the quarter ramps and flat bar which are again great for beginners.
The girls were delighted to see the ninja obstacle course!
There are various stations for them to climb on, descend, balance, swing and run onto. The floor is foam cushioned along the course and surrounded with wood chips. Missy 9 had no trouble challenging these obstacles. Missy 6 found the taller height quite difficult and took a longer time to climb onto them.
She was much happier at the sand playground. The playground is currently shaded with sails. The main structure of the playground has 2 slides with different facets to climb onto; one even has a rock-climbing wall on it.
Next to it is a rope climbing structure that resembled a cage. They can use the ropes and nets to climb around it and even on top of it.
There are plenty of activities to enjoy at the playground! You can play a large game of tic-tac-toe, go on the see-saw, use the talk tube, try the balancing steps, and have fun on the swings.
The spacious open area offers numerous tables and chairs for gatherings. There are BBQ facilities and shaded seating available for added comfort.
Huge greenery surrounds this park so there is always plenty of space to run around or kick a footy.
There is even an exercise equipment area for the adults!
Drink fountains and bins are found in this park. Plenty of street parking available around the park. However, there are no toilet facilities here. The nearest toilet will be a 5 min drive to the closest Harvest Lake Shopping Centre.
