JH Abrahams Reserve in Crawley is a beautiful, riverside Playground and picnic spot that’s ideal for families looking to spend a few relaxed hours outdoors. Overlooking the Swan River and close to Matilda Bay, it combines a shaded play area, big grassy spaces and great facilities, making it an easy option for a play, ride and picnic.

Shaded with sail shades and tall mature trees, this playground is on a woodchip play area. Children of all ages can enjoy climbing on the main wooden climbing structure.

With different climbing elements on it, even the little ones can find it easy to climb on top of it.

Next to it is a small concrete slide that is toddler-friendly and wide enough for parents to slide with the little ones.

One of Missy 8’s highlights was the monkey bar flying fox that was very popular with the children.

Another one of the children’s favourites was the nest swing.

All around the playground is the nature play trail with a variety of balance and stepping logs for little one to explore.

Older children can give parkour a try with the rock scramble.

Don’t forget to bring a basketball because where else can you play a game of basketball with such scenic view?

Families can enjoy taking a stroll along the riverside, watching and counting the boats and you can also check out the monument that commemorates the QANTAS Catalina service of World War Two.

There are plenty of shaded seats, BBQ facilities, with parking and toilets with rinse off area nearby, making it a perfect picnic spot for a whole family outing.
