Fragola Park Landsdale

Fragola Park Playground, next to the big open grass field of Fragola Park in Landsdale, is a lovely little local spot that’s well worth a visit – especially if you’re based in Perth’s northern suburbs. 

Arriving is straightforward, with a designated parking area right by the Playground. While the play space isn’t fully fenced, it is semi closed off from the parking zone, which offers some reassurance while you supervise. There are no toilets on site, so it’s definitely one of those parks where a bathroom stop before you arrive is a must. A drink fountain is available, which is very handy on hot days or after lots of running around.

The Playground surface is a combination of sand and soft-fall rubber, making it suitable for a range of ages and abilities. One of the standout features of Fragola Park Playground is its sweet space-themed play area. Children are welcomed by star shapes embedded in the pathways and a cute rocket ship climbing structure that’s especially appealing for toddlers and younger kids.

This low-to-the-ground piece includes sensory play panels, a small slide, rope elements, and even a steering wheel, all of which encourage imaginative, role-based play as little astronauts blast off into space.

Nearby, a spaceship-style seesaw rocker continues the cosmic adventure and is perfect for shared giggles.

Swing lovers are also well catered for here. The Playground includes a pod swing for lounging and gentle swinging, a traditional flat seat swing, and a cradle/bucket swing that’s ideal for babies and toddlers who need more support.
