Allure North Park is the latest playground in the Calleya Estate, Treeby and it does not disappoint.
The main attraction is the Junior BMX Pump Track that is enjoyed by BMX riders, general bike riders, skateboarders and those on scooters!
My 8yr old tested out the track on her bicycle and gave it the big thumbs up!
After a couple of tumbles, she quickly got the hang of the pumps and started to get more daring on the shoulders by turning higher up the curved walls. The track is a very smooth bitumen with woodchip & sand gardens throughout.
Along the perimeter of the pump track is a flat bike track that begins at the playground. Great for smaller kids that don’t want to miss out on the fun!
The playground includes a fantastic rope ladder to the enclosed slide with various different ways to get up there.
At one end of the climbing frame you can climb up the rope ramp and along the rope bridge to the enclosed slide or climb to the top of the ramp and come down the smaller slide.
There is also a rope ladder and climbing ropes you can chase your friends to take you up to the rope bridge.
There is plenty of opportunities to share your musical ability with the different sized and shaped xylophones.
The playground is varied to suit a range of ages and abilities on a mix of sand and soft matting to allow pram and wheelchair access.
The mini balancing obstacle course was quite a bit of fun using different heights, shapes and wobbling parts to add a bit of a challenge.
The sand play fort includes a smaller slide, lots of tunnels and buckets on pulleys.
The playground is well shaded with shade sails. At the moment there is very little shade on the bike track but as the trees mature it will be lovely and they will provide a lot of shade.
With 2 free gas BBQs, shaded seating areas, a drinking fountain and a large grass area the Allure North Playground is a great spot to get together.
The closest café is Mooba Calleya, they’re opening hours can be found on their Facebook page. Unfortunately, there are no public toilets on site. There are toilets at the Stockland Calleya estate office next door to Mooba, however these are not always open.
