Maniana Park is a huge destination Playground in Queens Park, perfect for hours of family fun. You’ll find it on the corner of Whitlock and Gibbs Streets, tucked behind the Sam Kerr Soccer Stadium.
Playground highlights
A large main play structure with three slides, varied climbing challenges, multi-level platforms, and a bridge connecting zones. Underneath, kids will love the cute role-play café.
A great mix of nature play, water play, swings, monkey bars and climbing equipment—something for all ages.
A dedicated toddler zone with a small slide and crawl tunnel.
Nature play elements including a teepee, balancing and climbing rocks, and logs.
Multiple roundabouts, including an all-abilities one.

Sports and wheels
Just outside the fenced Playground: a pump track, basketball hoop, a huge oval with soccer goals and cricket nets, plus a shared path circling the oval.
Facilities
The Playground is fully fenced with several gated entrances.
Picnic tables, benches, and BBQs are available both inside and outside the fenced area, with plenty of natural shade.
Public toilets are located near the pump track.
Parking includes a small car park and additional street parking.

There are not enough bins in the park, we went with the family on Sunday and the few bins that were there were overflowing with the wind blowing rubbishall over the playground. The worst part- there are no bins in the bathrooms. My 3 year old needed to use the toilet and every single cubicle was beyond filthy with dirty nappies just left on the floor.
We definitely won’t be coming back.
I was hesitant to try this park out given the previous review, but on the weekend I went the park it was very clean. No overflowing bins, and toilets were fine (a bit of toilet paper on the floors, but nothing gross). Very new facilities, the kids enjoyed the pump track, playground and cricket nets. Plenty of seating. Would come back.
