Seaside Magic with Faerie Cara at the Wanneroo Regional Museum

Step into a world of seaside magic with Faerie Cara these summer school holidays, as part of our Summer Then & Now program at the Wanneroo Regional Museum.
Before screens and streaming, summer holidays were all about salty hair, sandy toes and simple pleasures by the sea. In these enchanting, child-friendly sessions, Faerie Cara weaves stories inspired by ocean adventures, beachside holidays and nature play, inviting children to imagine summers past while connecting them to the way we holiday today.
Through storytelling, gentle movement, imagination and wonder, children will explore how families once spent long summer days at the coast – collecting treasures and making memories the old-fashioned way – and how those experiences still shape our love of summer in Wanneroo.
Perfect for young children and their carers, these sessions celebrate low-tech fun, creativity and intergenerational storytelling, with a magical seaside twist.
When: Wednesdays 21 & 28 Jan, 10:30 am
Where: Wanneroo Regional Museum
Why not make a day of it? There will be plenty of summer-themed activities and self-guided fun in the museum to keep curious minds active.
