My Community Through My Eyes – Photography and Videography Workshops

Learn how photos and videos are made and get the chance to create your own photo collection or short video clip. No prior experience is needed just curiosity and imagination!
Please bring your own device to the workshop e.g. mobile phone, digital camera, or tablet. Created photos and videos are eligible for entry in the ‘My Community Through My Eyes’ competition. The submitted photos and video clips will be shown at the Community Outdoor Movie Night on Sunday 26 April.
Children must be living or schooling in the Town of Victoria Park to be eligible for the workshop. Children under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult.
Workshop sessions:
Video storytelling – videography workshop for children (5 – 9 years)
Date/time: Tuesday 7 April, 9.30 – 11am
Video storytelling – videography workshop for young people (10 – 18 years)
Date/time: Tuesday 7 April, 11am – 12.30pm
How to take great photos – photography workshop for children (5 – 9 years)
Date/time: Wednesday 8 April, 10 – 11am
How to take great photos – photography workshop for young people (10 – 18 years)
