Join us at Wanneroo Libraries these school holidays for a fascinating family session about one of Australia’s most endangered creatures—the Western Swamp Tortoise.
Hear the incredible story of its rediscovery after being thought extinct for over 100 years, learn about its unique life cycle, and find out how WA scientists are leading conservation efforts. Kids will enjoy hands-on fun, including decorating their own tortoise to take home! Presented by the inspiring team, Friends of the Western Swamp Tortoise, passionate about conservation and preserving our wildlife.
