Previously known as Orange Grove Community Reserve, Boyle Lane All Abilities Playground is the NEWest playground that has received a $242,000 upgrade from the City of Gosnells in Orange Grove. Located at the intersection of Boyle Lane and Maddington Road, this fully fenced inclusive play space might be on the smaller scale, but it has all the sensory play elements and equipment for kids of all ages to enjoy and makes a good pit-stop to let the kids loose when you are around the area.
The Boral Truck Rocker (kindly donated by Boral) was a huge hit among the children! Not only can they pretend to drive the truck, it can fit a number of kids at the back too.
The main play structure has a ramp access making it fully accessible and the playground is set on a partial woodchips area and rubber soft fall mat flooring.
Kids can get onto the playground by climbing the giant spider rope net or the fun climbing wall.
There is a variety of interactive play panels.
Missy 7 had no trouble crossing the rope bridge to get across to the higher platform.
Kids have a look-out at the higher platform before sliding down the slide. There are also dual junior slides that are perfect for little toddlers to enjoy.
Older kids can challenge the monkey bars.
Toddler swings and a nest swing are found in this playground.
Talking tubes are scattered around the playground.
There are shade sails on the playground currently and there is plenty of shade from all the surrounding trees. However, there are no BBQ facilities or toilets here, only a water fountain and benches. Nearest public toilets are found at Westfield Street Reserve which is a 5 min drive. Free street parking are available along the street including ACROD bay.
