This brand-new pop-up café and kids’ play experience is exactly what our community has been craving: a space where little ones can explore, create, and get gloriously messy while parents can relax, connect, and recharge.
We attended their launch event, the Under the Sea session, and it was pure magic from start to finish. The room was buzzing with laughter as children rotated through stations designed with little hands (and big imaginations) in mind. From squishy jelly and colourful rice to playdough creations and sensory toys, there was something to engage every curious mind.
A colouring station offered a calm creative outlet, while soft play gave toddlers a chance to climb, tumble, and giggle to their hearts’ content.
And yes – there’s a café! Petals & Pods serves up brownies, cupcakes, hot chocolates, juice, and excellent coffee – the kind every parent dreams of while chasing toddlers. It’s the perfect setup: the kids are entertained, and you can sip your latte without balancing it on your knee at the playground.
One thing to note: extra clothes are a must. Between the jelly play and sensory fun, your little one will leave with a smile on their face and a stain on their shirt – a sure sign of a successful day.
