Join ABC presenters and Perth’s leading advocates of urban greening and biodiversity at the second edition of the River Guardians Festival, held on the banks of Derbarl Yerrigan, South Perth.

Featuring ABC Radio Perth’s Breakfast Show hosted LIVE by Amber Cunningham, Sabrina Hanh’s Roots and Shoots program, and Gardening Australia’s Josh Byrne talking on ‘RiverWise gardening’.

This FREE event includes presentations that will help support the health of the iconic Swan Canning Riverpark, bolster tree canopy coverage, and nurture biodiversity in metropolitan Perth.

Stall holders will host citizen science and kids’ River Ranger activities, including interactions with reptiles and marsupials, crafts with the Dolphin Watch and Eco Faeries crew, and habitat creation and wildlife photography workshops.

This educational and family-fun biodiversity event is not to be missed.
