A free five-week program designed to support people with disability and their support workers in developing healthy habits, staying active, and connecting with the community.

What’s included?

Healthy cooking – Learn to prepare simple, tasty, and affordable meals with the help of a nutritionist.

Get moving – Try chair yoga, Zumba, and a guided gym session.

Community connections – Discover inclusive activities and ways to stay involved. 

Week one – 29 May 2025

Interactive healthy cooking demonstration at Lakelands Park Community and Sports Facility.

Week two – 5 June 2025 

Let’s try Zumba, hear from our special guest speaker and eat a delicious morning tea at Lakelands Park Community and Sports Facility.

Week three- 12 June 2025 

Interactive healthy cooking demonstration at Lakelands Park Community and Sports Facility.

Week four- 19 June 2025

Give chair yoga a go, listen to our special guest speaker and enjoy morning tea at Lakelands Park Community and Sports Facility.

Week five- 26 June 2025

Enjoy a tour of the MARC and an inclusive and healthy activity information session at the Mandurah Aquatic and Recreation Centre. Meet at the foyer.

This program is designed for Mandurah residents with disability and their support workers. Spaces are limited to 25 participants per session. Participants must commit to attending all five weeks, as each session builds on the previous one.
