Power of Postcards – a hands-on approach to speak out against poverty in WA

July 23 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Join with others in a welcoming space, learn how poverty impacts our WA community and share in a unique way to be part of the solution.

The Power of a Postcard

Join us for a fun and relaxed atmosphere over a cuppa. Then together we’ll gently explore what poverty looks like in WA and share simple, practical ways to make a difference. Connect with others, learn how to take action, and help spark change in your community.

Workshop Outline

  • What is poverty in WA and the No Placefor Poverty movement?
  • Why will a postcard make a difference?
  • Who will I write my postcard to?
  • What to write on my postcard.
  • Let’s do it! Participants can write their postcard in the session, and we’ll take care of postage and sending.
