The main attraction is the huge pop-up outdoor ice-rink, an attraction everyone will love from young children, families, teens and adults, it is also wheelchair accessible. Penguins are available for a fee to help keep you stable as you skate around the rink, the kids loved the penguin’s Dockers and Eagles footy guernseys! This year you can even experience an ice skating silent disco – now that’s cool!
Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office, it is strongly recommended that you purchase tickets in advance as sessions do sell out and there is also a discount for online bookings. This year U.N.I.C.O.R.N.S have joined the magic of Winterwonder! Tickets are just $5 for a 10 minute session where kids will have the chance to get up close with the unicorns, snap some pics, enjoy cuddles, grooming and feeding the magical creatures! 10:30am – 2pm, Thursday – Saturday.
If you aren’t into skating there are multiple seating options available, board games, fire pits, a bar and food trucks to enjoy while the kids are on the ice.
We had a great time roasting marshmallows by the fire. Delicious and a great way to keep warm.
Other activities to enjoy are a huge inflatable pop-up slide, and a REAL snow pit – the fun isn’t limited to just the kids!
Children and adults can jump, slip and slide on the giant inflatable slide. Tickets can be purchased online for $5 +BF for 10 minutes.
WA’s first REAL snow pit is heaps of fun as well, from building snow castles to making snow angels – we had a blast, just make sure you pack some gloves. Tickets can be purchased online, under 5 $5 +BF, 5+ $8.50 +BF for 15 minutes. Children under 5 must be accompanied by paying adult.
There is a store where you can purchase some winter goodies.
