Through richly drawn characters and evocative storytelling\, Emily explores how hope\, love\, and resilience endure even in the most challenging times. She’ll share her research\, inspiration\, and the craft behind telling stories that honour the sacrifices of the past. \n  \nMelinda Tognini — Many Hearts\, One Voice\nMelinda Tognini’s Many Hearts\, One Voice tells the remarkable story of the War Widows’ Guild in Western Australia\, chronicling how ordinary women came together to support each other and make their voices heard in the aftermath of war. Melinda will reveal how she uncovered these stories and why remembering the courage of women is an essential part of ANZAC commemoration. \n  \nABOUT THE AUTHORS: \nEmily Paull is a Western Australian librarian and author\, shortlisted for the 2023 Fogarty Literary Award for The Distance Between Dreams. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for a buzzing good time! Join us for an exciting one‑hour activity designed just for children ages 4‑7\, where they’ll put on their coder’s hat and programme our adorable robot friend\, the Bee‑Bot  \nTogether\, participants will take on a series of fun challenges—working in pairs or teams\, talking through the instructions\, and watching their Bee‑Bot follow their commands. Through this hands‑on experience\, children will learn how to: \n\n problem‑solve and adjust when things don’t go as planned (hello debugging!)\n collaboratively work with others\, building social skills while they learn.\n\nWhether your child has never coded before or is just curious about robots\, our Busy Bee‑Bot Bash promises fun\, laughter and early coding confidence.
