SUMMARY:Children’s Tree Planting Festival
DESCRIPTION:oin us for a special morning of tree planting\, connecting children to nature and giving back to the Boorloo boodja (Perth land) that sustains our families. Throughout the morning families will plant trees together\, enjoy stories and singing\, participate in nature craft and workshops and delight in face painting\, music\, morning tea and lunch. \nThis beautiful community event is brought to you by volunteers (adults and children) from Activate Seedlings – Activate Tree Planting Ltd\, and is supported by Storytime parents & Grandparents at Perth City Farm and sponsored by City of South Perth.   \nThanks to the generosity of the City of South Perth this is a free event. \n \nAs we have limited spaces and to have the day runs smoothly\, we’d appreciate if you could register here as; \n– we need to have enough people to get the trees in the earth. \n– an idea of the number of people to cater for. \n Your ticket gains your immediate family access to all the events of the day – music\, live performance\, arts and crafts\, face painting\, workshops  and morning tea and lunch (soup and bread). We want to look after you so you can help us plant lots of trees! \n– Please note down your children’s favourite song when registering so we can have a playlist generated by the children on the day. \n– be prepared for rain or sunshine with appropriate clothing \n– a bowl\, spoon and cup for each person. This will assist us reduce waste. \n  \nPlease arrive promptly for 8.45 am on the day to register for the planting.  \nBig thank you Funk Factory\, Studio Loka Design and the workshop presenters\, artists and musicians for supporting the event with their knowledge\, talents\, equipment and materials.
