DESCRIPTION:Join us Wednesday afternoons between 3.00pm and 5.00pm for nature-rich STEM experiences at Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre. Just $5 entry per person and open to everyone! \n​ \nWe will introduce a different approach this term. Rather than running structured activities\, we will be offering access to the centre and a range of self-guided activities. Ride your bike\, bring your friends\, pack an afternoon snack or purchase from Twitchers coffee window. \n  \nEvery Wednesday after school we will be providing a range of self-guided nature-based experiences. Come and meet other families who are wild about the natural world. Activities will vary each week and may include: \n\nScooping for macro-invertebrates\nInvertebrate sifting\nWildlife surveys\nOrienteering\nNature art\nRehabilitation\nAnimal feeding\nNature walks\nEco-games\n\n  \nThe Herdsman Lake Discovery Centre will be open to the public for Wildlife Wednesdays during school terms from 3.00pm-5.00pm. Bookings not essential\, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
