DESCRIPTION:An informative workshop on starting and using modern cloth nappies with your baby\, presented by Kam\, The Nappy Guru.\n\n\nJoin the City for this free\, relaxed\, family-friendly workshop and learn about modern cloth nappies from birth to toilet training.\n \nPresented by engineer\, scientist and now The Nappy Guru\, Kam Andrews has a wealth of knowledge and experience with cloth nappies\, using them from birth with her youngest child. \nThis workshop is a great opportunity to: \n\nFind out what you need to get started\nCompare disposable and cloth nappies in terms of cost\, environmental impact and time\nTouch and feel various styles\, materials and brands of cloth nappies\nPractise fitting nappies on demo dolls\nLearn how to effectively wash nappies and deal with poo\nTalk with and make connections with like-minded parents\nGet support and tips if you are already using cloth nappies\n\nBookings are essential. \n \nAbout the Cloth Nappy Rebate:\nThe City of Bayswater is offering a cloth nappy rebate to reduce waste and encourage sustainable change. City residents are able to apply for a 50% rebate of up to $100 for either the hire or purchase of modern cloth nappies after attending a workshop. This ensures that all the information and support needed to successfully transition to using cloth nappies is provided. \nWhen attending the workshop\, please bring photo ID with your name and address as proof of residence. Without proof of residency\, you may not be eligible for the rebate. \nTo be eligible for this one off rebate\, you must: \n\nBe a City of Bayswater resident\nHave attended an eligible Cloth Nappy Workshop facilitated by us\nHave purchased or hired cloth nappies within 6 months after attending an eligible Cloth Nappy Workshop\nHave applied for the Cloth Nappy Rebate within 6 months of attending an eligible Cloth Nappy Workshop\nHave not previously successfully applied for the Cloth Nappy Rebate\n\nFor more information\, visit the City’s website or call 9272 0622 to speak with the City’s Waste Recovery Education Officer.
