Toddler World is a unique new, large scale, indoor pop-up play and discovery event for children aged 1-6 years. It returns to HBF Arena in Joondalup on 9th and 10th September.
On entering, the event is a rainbow of colour! Each interactive area is sectioned off with bright plastic fencing with latching gates specially sourced just for Toddler World. This means children can play at each station while parents can relax knowing they can’t run off and get lost in the crowd. There is plenty of room to move around the event and space beside each activity station to park a pram or stroller.
Toddler World has strict session capacities so children can enjoy playing without the queues. Another added bonus is once you are inside there are no extra costs such as sideshow games, lollies, showbags or merchandise.
There are 20 different interactive activity stations, some are structured/educational activities and others designed to be free play activities.
The interactive activity stations include messy play, toddler swings, magnetic fishing, drawing tables with crayons, ball pits with slides, large building blocks, space hopper balls, play dough and more!
My toddler who is 17 months loved the up and down ride on roller coasters and playing basketball in the Jungle Sports station.
There were no animals for our sneak peek but the animal farm is bound to be a huge highlight.
Older children will love the gymnastics-style section, kitted out with trampolines, springboard, balancing beams and a gymnastics bar.
Another popular station is the trick and cosy coupe roadway, fitted with street signs and arrows pointing where to go. My son had a great time in this station as well as the pram path station, he even gave his baby a bottle after her walk.
The children’s disco is amazing! Flashy lights, a disco ball and shiny backdrops with songs and nursery rhymes to dance along to.
There is a dedicated station for babies and toddlers under 14 months old with a range of age appropriate toys.
In addition to all these fun activities, there are three different bouncy castles at the front of the event, space for photos to be taken next to the stage, and The Freedom Fairies will be doing face painting.
At the very back of the event, there is a stage for live shows featuring Superheroes, Fairy Fun Games, and Happy Feet Fitness. They were testing out their bubble machine, WOW! Bubblemania!!!
There is antibacterial hand wash and wipes located around the event. A baby feeding room and nappy change area available. Parents are allowed to bring their child’s own food and beverages into the event. Free water is provided. There is a café located in the main entrance where food and drinks can be purchased if you wish.
