What’s great about parks with toilets?
Playgrounds and parks with toilets are a blessing when you’re toilet training! Many community parks are foregoing these facilities. However, if you’re in the middle of toilet-training or have a child with a tiny bladder, this may mean you only stay for an hour or so. Why not plan a longer play date? Find a park or playground with public toilets and make a morning or even a day or it!

The City of Belmont has a very cool new edition a Forster Park – a bike pump track! There’s the regular pump track circuit and then there are some pretty large jumps. This is so much fun – even just watching is very entertaining. Only bikes with air-filled tyres are allowed on the track as scooters and plastic wheeled toys can damage it. Adachi Park just off Great Eastern Hwy in Belmont has recently had an upgrade to the play equipment. You might know the park for the little brick house that is located there and can be seen from the highway. We recently stopped by for a play and a wander along the river walking paths. We found this a great little spot with parking, toilets, bbq facilities and covered picnic tables as well as the playground equipment and walkways. A brand new play space has just opened up at Centenary Park in Belmont and it’s so good! Designed for younger kids, the playground is fully fenced with a mixture of soft fall and sand. In the centre there is a main wooden structure which has a rope ladder and wooden ladders to climb up. The first platform has a bucket on a chain.
