School’s Out Winter Fest is here with hands down the BEST value winter event in Perth these school holidays! With all your favourite carnival rides and games, snow slides, ice-skating and falling snow indoors at Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre. From Saturday 2 to Sunday 17 July 2022.
Walking in the kids were blown away, they knew they were in for a ripper day! Session times are staggard, but once you are in, there is no need to rush… you literally have all day! We spent a fun-filled 3 hours at School’s Out Winter Fest.
Each kids ticket includes (adults enter for FREE);
1 x Ice Skating Experience
2 x Snow Slide Passes
12 x Ride Coupons
4 x Adult Rider Passes
The kids were most excited about the ice skating, so that was our first stop. They have a huge range of kids and adult size skates, including double runners and penguin aids are free to use. Children under five must be accompanied on the rink by an adult. Adult skating tickets can be purchased for $12.00 at the ice skating entrance.
We had plenty of falls on the ice but so much fun. With three kids and only one of me, I loved that there were attendants on the ice helping kids (big and small).
Next up we went on the rides, with 12 ride passes you can go on them all or ride your favourites over and over again. The rides include;
Dodgem Drift Cars – a firm favourite with my kids!
Runaway Train Roller Coaster
Cup & Saucer
Mini Ferris Wheel
After using all our ride passes the kids went flying down the snow slide.
We even bumped into snow sisters Elsa and Anna.
There’s a comfy seating area and additional seating with the coffee and churro vans. Popcorn and fairy floss are available near the exit.
Before heading home the kids tried their luck at a couple of carnival games. Games include laughing clowns, rabbit shooting gallery, lucky numbers and pick a box – everyone is a winner!
The kids also grabbed a couple of showbags each – 3 for $15 is great value.
School’s Out Winter Fest is within close proximity to Elizabeth Quay Bus and Train Station. I opted to drive in and park at the PCEC which cost me $10 for just over 3 hours, alternatively check out the City of Perth website to check out their 3-hour free parking options.
