DESCRIPTION:Froggy’s Fun on the Green is a free\, family-friendly mobile outdoor play session for Cockburn parents\, grandparents or carers with children aged 0 to 5 years. It offers fun activities for children and a chance for mums\, dads\, grandparents or carers to connect with others\, and also access information and support. \nTwo sessions are held per week during school terms. \nPlease note: \n\nNo bookings are required\, just sign in on the day so we can record attendance\nIf you arrive early (before 9am or 8.30am in Term 1) at the park\, use the playground until the session is set up\nDo not attend if you or your child is sick\nPlease help staff pack up after the session\nDo not bring dogs for safety reasons\nParents/carers are responsible for looking after their children at all times (please note there is a lake in Manning Park)\nPlease don’t take photos or videos of children who are not yours or who you are not caring for on the day.\nIn case of bad weather\, call 0467 713 447 to see if Froggy’s is going ahead\, but remember staff are busy setting up so cannot always respond immediately. The outreach aims to equip individuals with knowledge about using technology safely\, identifying digital abuse\, and accessing available support services. SCALES staff will be on hand to provide information and distribute resources. “Safe Tech\, Safe Women” underscores SCALES CLC’s steadfast dedication to fostering safety\, respect\, and justice within the community.

DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce Chirriger Kwilla – An Exploration of Noongar Totems at the Zig Zag Gallery in Kalamunda. \n\nThis intergenerational exhibition brings together celebrated Noongar artist Peter Farmer Snr and his son Peter Farmer Jnr\, presenting new works on canvas created especially for this show. \nAt its heart are the artists’ deeply personal connections to their ancestral totems — the Chirriger (Blue Wren) and the Kwilla (Great White Shark) — alongside the element totem Kaarl (Fire). Totems are guides connecting us to culture\, language\, and lineage. \nThrough their art\, the Farmers invite audiences to reflect on the strength of Noongar identity and its evolving place within contemporary art today. \nThis exhibition is proudly supported by the WA Government’s Department of Creative Industries\, Tourism and Sport (CITS).
