SUMMARY:Port Kennedy skatepark coaching session - Skateboard\, Scooter\, BMX
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Rockingham\nFreestyle Now will be conducting FREE coaching sessions at the Port Kennedy skate park.\n\n\nAll thanks to the City of Rockingham. The workshop sessions would be open to any participant over the age of 6. Limited spare skateboards and scooters are available\, bring your own helmet. \nSession 1: 3pm \nSession 2: 4pm \nFreestyle Now squad members will be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nOur facilitators analyse the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. Skills can be taught but confidence cannot. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our instructors speak the participants’ language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay this safety message to our participants and reiterate the importance of helmets and how they can minimise injuries. \nAll participants will need their own equipment and are required to wear a helmet and closed-in shoes. Participants with defective skateboards may not be able to participate. Our facilitators may not be able to make repairs to participants’ skateboards during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points: \n• Participants must be wearing a helmet \n• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen \n• Participants must be over the age of 6 \n• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12 \nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports\, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. \nFreestyle Now hosts many coaching workshop sessions throughout the year for various local governments\, community organisations and private companies. \n \nwww.freestylenow.net

SUMMARY:Baby Splash
DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Baby Splash\, a gentle and joyful water‑familiarisation program designed especially for babies aged four and five months. This free introductory class (simply pay pool entry) is the perfect way to begin your baby’s water safety journey in a safe\, supportive\, and nurturing environment. \nWhy Choose Baby Splash? \nEarly Water Confidence \nBaby Splash introduces your little one to the water in a calm\, caring way. Through soft movements\, warm water play\, and guided exploration\, your baby learns to feel relaxed and secure in the aquatic environment—building confidence from their very first splash. \nWater Safety Foundations \nOur program focuses on early water‑safety awareness. With the support of our trained instructors\, you’ll learn important techniques for safe handling\, gentle submersion skills (when appropriate)\, and safe water exposure habits that set the groundwork for future swim learning. \nFreedom of Movement \nThe water provides a unique opportunity for babies to move more freely than they can on land. This helps support motor development\, body awareness\, and early coordination—all while having fun in a soothing\, sensory-rich setting. \nParent–Baby Bonding \nBaby Splash is designed with connection at its heart. The class gives you dedicated time to bond with your baby through gentle touch\, eye contact\, and shared enjoyment.
