Whether you’re looking to play games\, socialise\, try something new or simply chill out\, The Shack offers opportunities to have fun and make new connections outside of school. \nYoung people can enjoy access to a pool table\, foosball\, table tennis\, PlayStation 5\, Nintendo Switch\, board games\, sports equipment and comfortable lounge areas within the open-plan drop-in space. The centre also features a fully equipped kitchen\, computers and a workshop room that hosts a variety of programs and activities throughout the year. The unique urban artwork throughout the centre creates a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the creativity and personality of the young people who use the space. \nLocated near a basketball court\, skate park and oval\, The Shack is ideal for young people who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Qualified Youth Workers are available at every session to provide support\, guidance and a friendly chat whenever needed. Light refreshments are provided\, and unless otherwise stated\, all activities are free to attend. SUMMARY:Houghton Park Jump Track Jam Session BMX / MTB Pump Track Jam Session
DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Wanneroo.\nFreestyle Now will be conducting a FREE BMX / MTB  jam sessions at the Houghton Park pump track.\n\n\nHead on down to the Houghton Park BMX and MTB pump track and participate in some good rad fun. There will be some rad prizes to be given out for the challenges that are set on the day and there will be plenty. Who will win best trick? Who will win footdown? Throughout the jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities for all participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick\, longest manual\, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark\, most engaged rider\, best youngest rider\, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. All thanks to the city of South Perth. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective bikes may not be able to participate. Our facilitators are not able to make repairs to participants bikes during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points• Participants must be wearing a helmet• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12• Please arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance• Disclaimer form will need to be signed on the dayFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression.All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well.
