Freestyle Now will be conducting a FREE skatepark Jam session at the Baldivis Skatepark.\n\n\nThanks to the City of Rockingham.  \nFreestyle Now will be hosting a FREE skatepark  jam session at the Baldivis skatepark for Skateboard\, Scooter and BMX participants. Participants will be able to learn new tricks or get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. The coaching jam sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports\, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. \nThroughout the skatepark jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities in Skateboard\, Scooter and BMX participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick\, longest manual\, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark\, most engaged rider\, best youngest rider\, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. \nAll equipment is checked prior to the participant’s involvement to make sure that it is in a safe condition and minor repairs or adjustments can be made if necessary. We do\, however\, reserve the right to not permit a participant to attend the workshop if we feel that their equipment does not meet safety requirements. \nKey points \n\nParticipants must be wearing a helmet\nPlease remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen\nRecommended for participants must be over the age of 6\nParents must stay on site if their child is under 12\nLimited spare scooters and skateboard may be available\nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance\nDisclaimer form will need to be signed on the day\nCoaching workshops are not suitable for 3 wheeled plastic scooters \n\nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe team members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our coaches are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Qualified Youth Workers are available at every session to provide support\, guidance and a friendly chat whenever needed. Light refreshments are provided\, and unless otherwise stated\, all activities are free to attend.
