Freestyle Now is hosting a FREE Scooter\, Skateboard\, BMX\, Rollerskate jam at Esplanade Youth Plaza.\n\n\nThanks to the City of Fremantle. \nFreestyle Now will be hosting a girls and gender diverse skatepark jam session at the Esplanade Youth Plaza skatepark for Skateboard\, Rollerskate\, BMX and Scooter participants. The workshop sessions would be open to any girls or gender diverse participant over the age of 6\, with the aim of creating an inclusive\, welcoming space for all people and skill levels to get involved at the skatepark. \nParticipants will be able to learn new tricks or get advice on tricks and gain new confidence levels but most of all everyone can have a stack of fun. The coaching jam sessions are more than just helping teach skills. These workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. The squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Our workshops cover all aspects of the sports\, as well as equipment maintenance and personal safety issues. \nThroughout the skatepark jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities in Skateboard\, Rollerskate\, BMX and Scooter participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick\, longest manual\, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark\, most engaged rider\, best youngest rider\, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. \nAll equipment is checked prior to the participant’s involvement to make sure that it is in a safe condition and minor repairs or adjustments can be made if necessary.
