This experience is all about socialising\, having fun\, and exploring the outdoors through gentle bushwalking\, at a pace that suits everyone. \nWe will amble around the Werillyiup Trail a 2.5km easy loop around Horse Swamp\, stopping to view wetland birds and looking out for the resident kangaroos grazing on the swamp fringes. \nEnjoy fresh air\, connect with others\, and discover the simple joy of being in nature together. Walking in nature can boost wellbeing\, build confidence\, and create space for meaningful conversations\, while also helping you meet new people and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the natural world. \nNo experience needed! DESCRIPTION:As part of WA’s biggest celebration of Aboriginal art\, Revealed: New and Emerging WA Aboriginal Artists\, returns to Boorloo (Perth) with an eight-week exhibition at the Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA). \nMore than 100 Aboriginal artists\, representing 28 Aboriginal art centres\, as well as 10 independent artists\, have contributed a kaleidoscopic 185 artworks to this year’s exhibition\, curated by proud Whadjuk\, Balladong and Wilman Noongar artist and independent curator Zali Morgan. \nShowcasing the diversity\, depth and cultural strength of Aboriginal art practices\, Revealed transports audiences across the vast state of Western Australia—from the red dirt of the Kimberley to the towering forests of the South-West—with works spanning painting\, printmaking\, photography\, drawing\, sculpture and weaving. \nThe exhibition provides a major platform for Aboriginal artists\, most of whom are based in remote and regional communities\, to share their works with the wider public and derive a sustainable income to support themselves and their communities. \nVisit Website

Her paintings hold hands through doorways\, and their arrangement transforms in companionship. \n\n\npromise to sing for you is an exhibition of paintings by artist Jemi Gale\, created while in residence at Goolugatup Heathcote.\n\nIn her work\, Jemi memorialises her friendships: quoting their bold one-liners\, collecting remnants from hanging out\, collaborating on paintings\, and looking back over the rushed and candid photos they take of one another. These new works are exhibited across two adjoining rooms\, acting like the bridges that friends make to span physical and emotional distance.
