DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the City of Wanneroo.\nFreestyle Now will be conducting a FREE BMX / MTB  jam sessions at the Houghton Park pump track.\n\n\nHead on down to the Houghton Park BMX and MTB pump track and participate in some good rad fun. There will be some rad prizes to be given out for the challenges that are set on the day and there will be plenty. Who will win best trick? Who will win footdown? Throughout the jam session a variety of challenges will cater for all levels of abilities for all participants. This is a chance for participants to showcase their abilities amongst their peers and for the community to see the skatepark participants excelling in a positive way. Some of the types of challenges that might take place would include best trick\, longest manual\, best trick on a certain part of the skatepark\, most engaged rider\, best youngest rider\, etc. Prizes are given out to the winners of the challenges. All thanks to the city of South Perth. \nAll participants would need their own equipment and would also be required to wear a helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective bikes may not be able to participate. Our facilitators are not able to make repairs to participants bikes during the coaching session. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points• Participants must be wearing a helmet• Please remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen• Parents must stay on site if their child is under 12• Please arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance• Disclaimer form will need to be signed on the dayFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nThe squad members let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression.All our instructors are very easy going and relate to the participants well. DESCRIPTION:Thanks to the Shire of Boddington\, Freestyle Now will be hosting a skatepark coaching session at the Boddington skatepark!\n\n\nThanks to the Shire of Boddington.  \nFreestyle now will be facilitating a fun and informative coaching session at Boddington Skatepark for Skateboard\, Scooter and BMX participants. Our facilitators analyze the participants’ skill level and work from that base and assist with confidence building. It is important to not only just focus on skill building but confidence as well. By using their own skill base as a stepping stone we are able to help them advance. Our coaches speak the participant’s language and speak on their level. Our instructors relay the importance of safety\, the importance of helmets and how they can minimize injuries. Freestyle Now team members will be present to offer participants technical advice\, trick tips\, skill development and skatepark etiquette. \nAll participants would need their own equipment\, helmet and closed in shoes. Participants with defective equipment may not be able to participate. Our coaches may be able to assist with some minor adjustments (Scooter/BMX Bar straightening\, skate wheel tightening) before the session starts if required and time permitting. \nParticipants under the age of 6 will be taken on their ability to understand and follow instructions and to control their apparatus. \nKey points \n\nParticipants must be wearing a helmet\nPlease remember to bring some water and wear sunscreen\nParents must stay on site if their child is under 12\nLimited spare scooters and skateboard may be available\nPlease arrive 15 minutes early to register your attendance\nDisclaimer form will need to be signed on the day\nCoaching workshops are not suitable for 3 wheeled plastic scooters\n\nFreestyle Now coaching workshops are fun\, informative and motivational. \nOur coaches let the participants ride at their own level and encourage progression. \nAll our coaches are very easy going and relate to the participants well. Whether you’re looking to play games\, socialise\, explore your creative interests or simply unwind\, The Underground offers opportunities to have fun\, build confidence and make new connections. \nYoung people can enjoy a variety of entertainment options\, including pool tables\, table tennis\, foosball\, PlayStation 5\, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The centre is also home to a professional digital recording studio\, providing aspiring musicians and creatives with access to quality equipment and opportunities to develop their skills. Passionate musicians can also perform on our fully equipped stage at Late Night Live\, a once-a-term live music night. \nThere are two Drop-In sessions tailored to different age groups: \n\n10-14 years: provides a fun and welcoming space for younger secondary school-aged young people to make friends\, enjoy activities\, build confidence and try new experiences.\n15-25 years: offers young people in this age group a relaxed environment to socialise\, unwind\, explore their interests and connect with others in a supportive setting.\n\nQualified Youth Workers are present at every session to provide support\, guidance and a friendly chat whenever needed.
