DESCRIPTION:Froggy’s Fun on the Greenis a free\, family-friendly mobile outdoor play session for Cockburn parents\, grandparents or carers with children aged 0 to 5 years. It offers fun activities for children and a chance for mums\, dads\, grandparents or carers to connect with others\, and also access information and support. \n Two sessions are held per week during school terms on Mondays and Tuesdays. \nPlease note: \n\nNo bookings are required\, just sign in on the day so we can record attendance\nIf you arrive early (before 9am or 8.30am in Term 1) at the park\, use the playground until the session is set up\nDo not attend if you or your child is sick\nPlease help staff pack up after the session\nDo not bring dogs for safety reasons\nParents/carers are responsible for looking after their children at all times (please note there is a lake in Manning Park)\nPlease be aware of parking rules in reserves and parks and be aware of turtle nests or turtles hatching\, laying at Manning Park\nPlease don’t take photos or videos of children who are not yours or who you are not caring for on the day.\nPlease be aware of turtles on the move near Manning Pake and speak to staff if you see one\nIn case of bad weather\, call 0467 713 447 to see if Froggy’s is going ahead\, but remember staff are busy setting up so cannot always respond immediately. In a welcoming and inclusive environment\, children build confidence\, develop important social skills such as sharing and cooperation\, and strengthen fine motor abilities through activities involving cutting\, gluing\, painting and experimenting with a variety of art materials. More than just a craft class\, Creative Kids provides a wonderful opportunity for families to connect\, create lasting memories and nurture imagination while enjoying quality time together.\nGuided by the City of Gosnells Families program facilitators\, Creative Kids is a parent-led program for children aged 2 – 4 years\, with parents or caregivers required to remain for the entire session to participate\, supervise and support their child’s learning\, creativity and exploration.\nEnrolling your child into Creative Kids (2 – 4 years)\nCreative Kids runs for 8–9 weeks during the school term. Below are the steps involved in registering your child into a class. \n\nReview the Children and Families’ FAQ & Cancellation Policy Information before proceeding to registration.\nRegister for the term program by purchasing a ticket to secure a place in the program via the TryBooking event (hyperlinked below).\n\n\n\n\n\n\n🗓️\n\n\nTerm 4 registrations open Wednesday\, 30 September 2026 at 8.30am\n\n\n\n\nClick on the respective button below to register into a class for the upcoming term. \nWe understand parents may be required to care for more than one child. Whether you’re looking to play games\, socialise\, try something new or simply chill out\, The Shack offers opportunities to have fun and make new connections. \nYoung people can enjoy access to a pool table\, foosball\, table tennis\, PlayStation 5\, Nintendo Switch\, board games\, sports equipment and comfortable lounge areas within the open-plan drop-in space. The centre also features a fully equipped kitchen\, computers and a workshop room that hosts a variety of programs and activities throughout the year. The unique urban artwork throughout the centre creates a vibrant atmosphere that reflects the creativity and personality of the young people who use the space. \nLocated near a basketball court\, skate park and oval\, The Shack is ideal for young people who enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities. Qualified Youth Workers are available at every session to provide support\, guidance and a friendly chat whenever needed. Light refreshments are provided\, and unless otherwise stated\, all activities are free to attend.
